| Two folding ash hoops and an acrylic canvas cover. Just like the Thames Skiffs really, only smaller and quicker to put up. George & Harris in Jerome K Jerome's 'Three Men in a Boat' got themselves in a right tangle with theirs! My wife is sitting on the aft thwart, Sebastien, a visiting French friend, is on the forward thwart. The centre one is stowed away up for'd. Kettle's on, tea will be up in a minute, and they're nice and snug. When it's bedtime, the forward thwart gets stowed away, the aft one can stay put unless you're very tall. We blow a little air into our mattresses and put them down either side of the centreboard case. The case is offset to the port side of the keel, as you can see in the previous picture. (Curses. My wife bagged the 'big side' in perpetuity!) You've got room to turn over but you're nicely cradled. It's not at all cramped for two, if you have got everything well organised. |
