| Julitta is a Joel White design, his Pooduck 13ft skiff. As is Syrinx, his Shearwater 16ft double-ended pulling boat (see Workshop page). Julitta has a narrow, flat bottom, which makes her less of a rowing boat, but slightly more beam and therefore more initial stability than Syrinx. The enquirer asked me initially if I had a design that he could sail, launch & recover on his own, but which could take two large adults easily when his son was visiting. She has fulfilled exactly his requirements... |
